3. NOTE 1: Please first install WinRAR and Winhex on your computer. Then to do setup as follows.
   1. Locate the file: C:\Program Files\Porsche\PIDT_P_MIG_DLSS3\pidt\plugins\de.dsa.pidt.datatype.jar and copy it on your desktop in order to modify it.
   2. Open it with WinRAR, and then in the WinRAR windows locate the file:
   \de\dsa\pidt\datatypes\utils\Helper$1.class and drag it on your desktop, then delete it from the archive after the copy, and keep the WinRAR window open.
   3. Open Helper$1.class on your desktop with Winhex and go to offset E81, replace 9A by A7 and save.
   4. Drag back the save file on the WinRAR window still open and click OK. Now Close WinRAR.
   5. Copy the new file de.dsa.pidt.datatype.jar you just made in C:\Program Files\Porsche\PIDT_P_MIG_DLSS3\pidt\plugins, and overwrite it.
   6. Copy the file aftersales.sig on your desktop and rename it development.sig Copy this file back in the folder.
   Aftersale.sig is located in C:\Program Files\Porsche\PIDT_P_DLS3\Pidt\workspace

This is the instruction on how to change vehicle order (VO) with NCS Expert, on BMW vehicles except F series.

VO modify tools:

steps to modify VO:

1.InNCS Expert, load the Expertmode profile.

2.Press F1 or the VIN/ZCS/FA button.

3.Press F3 or the ZCS/FA f. ECU button.

4.In the Choose CHASSIS pop-up window, choose the E89 chassis and press the OK button.

5.In the Choose ECU pop-up window, choose the CAS ECU and press the OK button.

6.The model (CHASSIS), VIN number (FG), and VO (FA) should be displayed in NCS Expert.

7.Press F2 or the Enter FA button to modify the VO.

8.In the Choose CHASSIS pop-up window, choose the E89 chassis and press the OK button.

9.In the Enter VIN pop-up window, verify that the Vin listed is the correct VIN number for the vehicle. The last digit attached to the VIN number is a checksum. You should not have to change anything on this step. Just verify and press the OK button.

10.In the Enter FA pop-up screen, for the Attribute text field, input the SA or Service Code. After typing in the code, press the Add button, and verify that the code was listed in the list of FA codes. After verifying, press the OK button.

-SA codes will begin with a "$”
-Service Codes will begin with a "+”

11.Press F6 or the Back button.

12.Press F4 or Process ECU button.

13.For the Choose ECU pop-up window, select CAS and press the OK button.

14.Press F2 or the Change job button.

15.From the Choose job pop-up window, select FA_WRITE and press the OK button.

16.Under "get coded:”, verify that CAS is the ECU selected to get coded. Also verify the JOBNAME is equal to FA_WRITE, and then press F3 or the Execute job button.

17.After the job has ended, we need to also write the new VO to the LMA ECU so that it will be both wrote to the CAS and LMA ECU. Press F1 or Change ECU button.

18.From the Choose ECU pop-up window, choose the LMA ECU and press the OK button.

19.Under "get coded:”, verify that LMA is the ECU selected to get coded. Also verify the JOBNAME is equal to FA_WRITE, and then press F3 or the Execute job button.

20.After the coding has ended, you can exit out of NCS Expert.

Problem before entering:

I am trying to change mileage on Volvo V50 2004 dash withdigiprog3odometer master clone v4.94.

I have downloaded a German version user manual and soldered 3 wires as shown in German manual (checked pin numbers). Adapter 51 has 4 wires. Pin 25 (white on original, or orange on clone) left unsoldered. I’m getting "ERROR INIT” message on screen. Processor is MC9S12DG128B. I selected HCS12 in digiprog 3.

What I’m doing wrong? Then I contacted my dealer. Theuobd2.nettechnician helped solve the trouble. It should work for whom hasDP3on this dash.

I checked the Volvo V50 HCS12 user manual withdigiprog iiiagain, and noticed that at least 4 wires, vss, vdd, tx and rx should be soldered.

I posted the attachment they provided.

1. Remove and disassemble tachometer.
2. Connect as shown in the photo above the plug 51 with the marked soldering points. 3. PICTURES on the following page
3. Select the program: cars / trucks -> VOLVO -> V50 HCS12.
4. The DIGIPROG displays the old / wrong Mileage.
5. Program and completed the new / correct Mileage.

NOTE: Pin-signal= end of white wire in first picture

The job needs good soldering/ desoldering skill. Lucky, the problem was settled.

Come to the main menu, each function tab can be easily glanced through the navigation bar

VERSION

Click "Version” Tab, you are allow to view the Autoboss V30 Elite scanner software version, hardware version and device S/N.

SETTINGS

Click "Settings” Tab, you are allowed to change language, self-check, set time etc

NOTE: V30 scanner language: English (Default), Spanish, French, Italian, German, Russian. English is default language, If you need other language, please provide Serial Number to open it.

SPECIAL TEST

Select "Special Test” function.Autoboss Elite V30is able to do special test for some models Renault, Kia, Hyundai, Toyota, Nissan, Volvo, Mercedes Benz and Fiat. You are able to replace component, reset adaptation data, reset air filter learned value after replacement, activate fuel pump etc for these vehicle models.

• Function:

ICOM A and ICOM A2 perform same function. But due to the old ICOM A module have problem in the cooling and protection design, ICOM A2 adopts the whole aluminum shell body, using aerial explosion-proof connector; and it use the joint connection line which similar to the Mercedes-Benz SDCONNECT COMPACT 4.

BWM ICOM A2 comes with Network cable, can do Fiber optical programming, but ICOM A3 does not contain Networkcable, can not do Fiber optical programming.
